Reverse Osmosis Plants by Biosystems
Biosystems’s Sea Water Reserve Osmosis Plants (SWRO) are designed to treat seawater, or high-salinity groundwater, containing less than 40,000 mg/L of total dissolved solids (TDS) and less than 30 mg/L of total suspended solids (TSS), to produce potable water. The standard treatment process involves auto backwashing membranes and cartridge filters, anti-scalant dosing to prevent membrane scaling, RO desalination and auto flushing, and clean-in-place (CIP) systems for membrane cleaning. Additional pre-RO and post-RO treatment steps may be added as required to suit various feed water standards and/or post-treatment treated water quality requirements. The Biosystems’s SWRO Plants are available in skid-mounted or configured as containerized systems.
A standard skid-mounted product line is available in sizes ranging from 60 to 400 kUSgpd (225-1500 cubic meters per day/(m3/d)), that can be modified and configured for outdoor applications, containerized settings, or installed in fixed indoor placements.
The company has a standard line of 2800 m3/d trains which can be easily linked for larger systems.
